![]() I have this same issue now, to where I can not play almost at all unless I am in a dungon. ![]() P.P.S: In response to a comment - I've now been playing Need For Speed: The Run for probably much longer than any single shot I had at Skyrim before a crash. P.S.: I'm aware that a proposed workaround for the "lag" issue is to disable Autosave, but I've had that feature save my tail enough times I'd rather not. One bit of information that would be helpful in diagnosing this is, from those who are more intimately familiar with the "lag and chopping" I'm reading about, how long does the system typically hang during Autosave lag? Is this a known common issue with the game? Or, is this just my PS3 telling me I'm playing too much Skyrim and it needs a break? Could it be an actual problem with my system? Every other time though, the whole system would just be hung - I couldn't even access the shutdown menu, a couple minutes after the start of the hang. However, after selecting to quit the game, my system instead gave an error beep and rebooted. Once, it appeared that it was just the game that had crashed - I was able to access the PS3's menu by holding the PS button. I've had the system crash on me twice in just tonight's session of a few hours. Usually, a reboot will leave me in the clear for a couple hours or so. However, sometimes it's also during a load operation. The lag cases seem to be related to Autosaves, and I will admit that some of my crashes seem to be around the point an Autosave might occur. Perhaps my case is actually a lag, and I'm just not waiting long enough. However, I've seen few (if any) about Skyrim actually crashing the system. ![]() All of them can do the same.I've seen a thread or two about the lag problems in Skyrim on the PS3. Note: You can use any webMAN or webMAN MOD version, rebug, lite, ccapi, normal. And if you are running LAN then speed is much better than on USB. Also you don't need to use usb stick/harddrive for managing your homebrew and backups. This also can be helpful for people running webman that stuck on boot screen, in 99% cases webman is loaded and FTP is running so if dev_blind is enabled (If no you can enable it from PC) you can restore broken files by FTP without reinstall full firmware. It will be called "New connection", you can change that name if you wan to.Īdvantage of that solution is that you can play game and same time copying files without going to any manager on PS3. From that moment your settings will be stored in filezilla when you open program next time then just click to your PS3 connection is Site Manager. Click connect, if setting are correct you will see PC files in left tab and PS3 files in right tab, from that moment you can just drag and drop files to copy them or use right click for eg. Tick/Check - Limit number of simultaneous connectionĦ. Port: leave blank (or type 21 if you want)ĥ. Open filezilla and click on Site Manager > New Site and in General tab set: In PS3 go to Settings > Network Settings > Settings and Connection Status List and check your IP adressĤ. FTP server in webman and webman MOD is running in background even on default setting, but for sure check in webman setting that "Disable FTP server" and "Disable remote access to FTP/WWW services" is UNTICKED/UNCHECKEDģ. Install webman on PS3 (your PS3 firmware must be able to run plugins) and Filezilla on PCĢ.
